But I hate the way it handles directories and importing books - enough that I've been looking harder for something new. I love the features, control, customization, options, etc. I've been using Moon+ pro for years, and have a love-hate relationship with it. So, I may be able to eliminate much of the Moon+ problems - I'm working on it. Calibre Companion can connect to my Dropbox library (or my actual library on my computer if it's on), and browse the collection, download the book to any directory, and then switch to the reader to read. Plus, I use Calibre for my ebook collection, and have a mirror on Dropbox. Moon+ is frustrating due to its directory problems, but I've almost got it figured out. And I got it for half price way back when. It may only be in the paid version of Moon+, but the price was so low that it is insignificant for an app I use daily for years. I read on both my phone and my tablet, so this is another required feature.

The next feature I don't see is the ability to sync reading position, and bookmarks, via either Dropbox or Google Drive. I find this feature immensely useful, and would never use a reader that doesn't have it. I don't need to copy the name, paste it into a search field, etc, like some readers. But I can also go to any of the occurrences, read more, then return to where I started.

The search will show me a scrollable page of all occurrences of the word, along with some context, so I can usually tell who that character is.

In Moon+, I can highlight a word, such as a character name, then choose search. AlReader looks fairly good, but unless I'm missing something, it seems to be missing some of my must-have features.
